Bushwick Block Party

There aren’t that many unadorned legal walls in NYC so street artists happily painted and pasted a 200 foot wall in Bushwick. Photographers were also happy for the chance to catch flix of some of their favorite artists in action. The gathering was organized by Factory Fresh Gallery and All City Street Art, a graffiti and street art app. Could anyone have imagined such a thing 30 years ago? Bushwick has come a long way since the scary neighborhood of the 70’s and 80’s but if you’re lucky, you still might see a chicken on the sidewalk.
