12ozProphet Exclusive: Old Williamsburg Bridge Tags Still Running

This article was posted by freshpaintnyc 2 months, 2 weeks, 3 days, 17 hours, 3 minutes ago.

Up until 2003… On the southern side of the Manhattan end on the Williamsburg Bridge bike / pedestrian path used to be a rickety wooden plank running parallel with the roadyway. After removal of the path, old tags on the barrier wall are still visible today through the fading buff. You can still see some classic tags by Mickey and Sento TFP, UFO, PEZ, YEAR and others dating back to early 2000’s.

That def doesn’t look like it just faded naturally, most of that was washed off with a pressure washer.
