12ozProphet Exclusive: Risk, Bio, & Mear One on Sunset Blvd.
This article was posted by Birdman 3 months, 3 weeks, 3 days, 22 hours, 9 minutes ago.
Located in the heart of the Sunset Junction on Sunset and Santa Monica Blvd. Risk MSK AWR, Bio TATS CRU, and Mear WCA CBS did what they do best, wrote their names. After hislast wall in LA being part of his beautifully destroyed series, Risk and the Bronx burner Bio painted some insane pieces on the wall that attracted attention throughout the day. With a wide range of people walking by the the wall children seemed to really enjoy Bio’s psychedelic Mickey Mouse and the vibrant colors of wall.
When asked how he felt about writing his name instead of a mural, Mear One (a local within the area) had this to say: “Busting out with my styles keeps me in touch with my roots. Graffiti is a break away from deep concentration and meticulous rendering. I feel that it is important to keep a connection to where you grow from. Especially for a graffiti writer. Murals satisfy the public, graffiti satisfies the artist.”
This was an LA Freewalls project.
