12ozProphet Photo of the Day: Flint for 12ozProphet

This article was posted by Senior Editor 1 year, 11 months, 1 week, 1 day, 6 hours, 22 minutes ago.

Here is our 12ozProphet Photo of the Day. This is a self-portrait of the early 70s graffiti writer Flint… well known for the messages that accompanied his tag like “For Those Who Dare,” “Bad But Not Evil,” and “For Ladies Only.” At the time, not only did he always have a marker on him, but he also always carried his camera with him as well, documenting kids being kids in the golden era of graffiti culture.

12ozProphet dug through the gold-mine that is Flint Gennari’s photo archives and selected 3 previously unpublished photographs to print as a capsule collection of T-shirts, available exclusively through our online shop. After a year in the making, the Flint for 12ozProphet capsule collection will be released this Thursday, November 15th. Check back as we will be sharing more information about the collaboration throughout the week.
