Here is our 12ozProphet Photo of the Day. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we spotted this fresh new paint tag by the legendary graffiti writer Duster UA on a scaffold in the East Village. Duster’s place in the pantheon of graffiti history was solidified after his inclusion in what’s referred to as “the Graffiti Bible,” the seminal book Subway Art and the influential documentary Style Wars, in which he paints a mural with his mentor and United Artists crew-mate Seen. We also spotted two more yellow paint tags by Duster on opposite sides of the Astor Place Cube that had unfortunately already been buffed.
