12ozProphet Photo of the Day: Sabe "New York" Chaos

By - Thursday, August 16th, 2012

{image-1} Here is our 12ozProphet Photo of the Day. These doors on Lafayette and Kenmare are known for being a popular venue for graffiti and street art, often showcasing the work of Haculla, among others. When they recently caught the buff, leaving only the words “New York” across the top, Sabe KST saw an opportunity to add his touch, blowing up 7 cans of spray paint across the doors as we’ve seen from him before in this video previously posted on 12ozProphet. We reached out to Sabe for the flick, who coming from a hardcore street bombing background told us, “I left the hard hat in the photo to make it clear I’m not following or doing street art. It’s conceptual vandalism.”
