Influenced early on by the highway graffiti in the north east US, the Rhode Island writer Lead has been active since the early 90’s. He starting writing under another name in 1991 then switched up to Lead in ‘93 and never looked back. In addition to the influence of seeing destroyed highways in his earlier years, he cites Emit, Gaze, Cycle, and the whole IMOK crew as individual influences. Currently he reps DNA, AOK, IMOK/DF, and VLOK. Lead recently sat down with GetnLoose to talk about his history, his influences, his home state, and more.
