Australian Gamer Breaks Record for Longest Gaming Marathon Playing Black Ops

Okan Kaya, a Sydney resident, broke the Guinness world record for the longest gaming marathon while playing Black Ops 2 by 2 hours. Kaya played the game for 122 hours, breaking previous champions Christopher Gloyd and Timothy Bell 120-hour record, which they set while playing Resistance. Kaya completed the challenge following Guinness’ rules regarding break times. The rules allow the player to take a ten minute break for every hour of play time. This is able to be rolled over hour to hour, so for every six hours of playing Kaya slept for one. Now that is gamer dedication!
