Baohaus boss Eddie Huang celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this month at South Side, having invited a mob of his closest friends to the SoHo venue. Eddie’s been all over the news this past year, from hosting a Chinese New Year dinner with Adidas to debuting his pilot, Cheap Eats, on the Cooking Channel (which was recently picked up for a full season). Indeed, there was much to celebrate as the chef said peace to his twenties. On hand were buds from his childhood, the Baohaus crew, and a handful of NYC tastemakers. Oh yeah, and Prodigy of Mobb Deep performed, no big deal. The club went crazy when “Shook Ones” came on; P flipped a line from the song to “Ayo Eddie, spark the philly!”

Happy 30th from 12oz; we’re looking forward to more headliners this year!
