Music Video: BenZel & Jessie Ware “If You Love Me”

The new music producing duo BenZel release this track with English singer-songwriter Jessie Ware. The song is a cover of “If You Love Me” originally by Brownstone in 1994. This updated version comes by way of BenZel, also known as Umi Takahashi (15) and Yoko Watanabe (16) originally from Osaka, Japan. Umi and Yoko both travelled to New York through their local foreign exchange program where they met in early 2012 through an online message board. They quickly discovered they each had a profound appreciation for 90’s R&B and J. Dilla, and although this track easily falls into the former category, we look forward to more music leaning towards the later.
