Book: Morris Park Crew– The Official History

By - Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012

Morris Park Crew–The Official History is soon to be released by Schiffer Publishing. Available October 28, the tome is, as the title clearly states, the official history of the Bronx crew that originated in 1977. 1983’s Style Wars brought fame to the crew and especially to second generation member and uber bomber Cap1, which made him MPC’s most known personality. This book aims to inform on the over 30 year history of the crew as a whole, not only on Cap, through photographs and stories behind them. The until now, little known complete history of one of graffiti’s most iconic crews promises to set the record straight on how it all went down. This book is not to be missed. In the often temporary realm of graffiti, the stories and photographs, the History, is sometimes the only thing you have. For more info on the book and the crew, be sure to drop by the MPC website. It’s full of videos, interviews, links, and of course, a bunch of crispy flicks. This preview was posted by Cope2 MPC on his blog on 12ozProphet.
