Number Of The Beast by Buff Monster and L’Amour Supreme from Cotton Candy Machine on Vimeo.

The closing party for Number of the Beast happened this past Saturday, May 4th at the Cotton Candy Machine in Brooklyn. The two man show featured the works of Buff Monster and L’Amour Supreme, who have been collaborating both stateside and internationally since Buff Monster moved his locale to the East coast. The inspiration stemmed from the pair’s appreciation of the iconic Iron Maiden artwork created by Derek Riggs. The gallery welcomed it’s largest crowd to date on opening night, also celebrating Cotton Candy Machines second anniversary. The closing party not only hosted the artists, David M. Cooke aka Bone Thrower was invited to join them to create works on the Roebling Wall. This will be a new public art space curated by the gallery. [Images: Kelly Salih]
