Busted: Markers Can Get You High… Especially When Filled with Cocaine

Graffiti culture has a rich history of customizing markers to fit your needs but this dude took it to a whole new level. Officials at Kennedy airport have seized 16 pounds of cocaine hidden in markers, deodorant, nail polish and buttons. A Czech Republic native and Netherlands resident has been accused of smuggling the drugs on his layover in between Haiti and Brussels. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the man showed “traits of nervousness” and the bag emanated a “strong smell”.
