Canvassing the World With Shawna X in New Mexico

This summer, Complex News set out to travel the globe, spending less time in the studio, and more time outdoors. The Complex Summer Vacation series documents their travels and begins with a visit to the White Sands National Monument in southern New Mexico, a location that spans over 275 square miles of white sand dunes and gypsum crystals. While in New Mexico, Complex spent some time with fellow New Yorker and digital illustrator Shawna X who used the new release of Adobe Creative Cloud to help create an original light box installation piece that was unveiled in the middle of White Sands National Monument at sunset.
