Censorship in China Still Healthy, Shok1 Mural Brought Down

By - Thursday, July 21st, 2011

{image-1} Notorious for removing anything, or anyone, that might paint their government in a negative way, the Chinese government has decided to censor UK-based Shok 1’s recent commissioned wall. Without an explanation to Shok or the building’s owner, the entire piece has been covered. Hopefully, this incident will help shine a light the absurd power the Communist country still has over its culture and arts. {image-2} via Molotow
