Chicago Walls: GREVE puts some of the pieces together

By - Thursday, March 26th, 2015

For several years, Greve has been killing the Chicago graffiti scene on every level. On his latest wall, Greve unleashes dope work while providing his viewers with something to both think about and appreciate.

On this particular piece, Greve decided to paint a few photographs, each representing a different aspect of the graff game. One of the photos is of a transit train running with a Greve burner painted on its side, another is of a USPS Priority Mail Sticker with a Greve tag on it and the last one isn’t so obvious to us all, it’s of Kanye West during his infamous “I’mma let you finish” interruption of Taylor Swift before she was able to give her acceptance speech at the MTV VMA’s for Best Female Video a few years back, that photo represents the ego of an artist.

So, with nothing more than imagination, talent and some aerosol cans, Greve puts together some of the pieces for all of us to enjoy.
