Following the release of the City as Canvas book, The Museum of the City of New York has opened City as Canvas through August 24th 2014. The exhibit is the first time Martin Wong’s early and vital graffiti collection has been open to the public. The collection, which was donated to the museum by Wong himself in 1994, features more than 300 works by many prominent figures in the graffiti world such as LEE, ZEPHYR, FUTURA 2000, Charlie Ahearn and Martha Cooper.
