City Not Providing Paint to Cover Graffiti

By - Monday, May 2nd, 2011

According to the “New York Post”, community groups in Pelham Parkway are finding it more difficult to get painting supplies to clean up new graffiti in the area. Does this mean the vandals have won, the opposition is crushed, and spending millions of dollars a year on cleaning up graffiti as not really the best use of funds? Well… Not quite. Apparently the city seems to be limiting the paint supplies to structures instead of the utility poles along the Pelham Parkway North. The limiting of the paint seems to have gotten a couple board members pissed off, so who knows how long till they get what they want, and all of it goers back to being buffed.
