Community54 Vintage Gear Store Opening in the LES

For all things nostalgic, a new store in the LES promises to cater to the vintage gear addicts in the neighborhood. Having officially opened this past Monday, 12oz stopped by Community54 to check out the renovated space. The entrance housed a slew of old school arcade games like Ms. Pac Man, Missile Command, and Marvel vs. Capcom. Patrons walk through a working photo booth to get into the storefront, where ASAP Rocky’s newest mixtape was on rotation. Racks of vintage Polo, Japanese-exclusive North Faces, and sports jerseys were on display, complemented with a snapback bar and accessories case. The real gem of the store is in the back; it opens up into a great backyard/gallery space. The walls are bombed by Cinik and friends, and the venue has already been graced by Spaceghost Purrp and the ASAP crew. Be on the lookout for more events coming soon from Community54.
