Jaybo and Kofie “Conversations” – at Work in the Studio

In his latest video, photographer and graphic designer Scott La Rockwell films artists Jaybo Monk and Augustine Kofie at work in the studio, where they were preparing for their show “Conversations.”

The Berlin-based Jaybo and LA-based Kofie united in Los Angeles to collaboratively create the pieces and for the opening of the exhibition at Soze Gallery last night. 

The pair worked both together and individually on the large-scale works. Each artist also created a limited edition zine, Jaybo’s “When the Seas Catch Fire” and Kofie’s “OBSERvations,” which were available at the opening.
