Recap: Cope2 "Hypnotic" at Gallery 69

By - Sunday, February 17th, 2013

Bronx native Cope2 is one of the most prolific and controversial graffiti writers of all time. Cope takes a similar approach to his studio practice as he did street bombing in the 90’s. It seems as though every other week he has another exhibition, print release, or t-shirt collaboration, continually building his name worldwide. Last night was a homecoming, as friends and fans alike turned out at Gallery 69 in Tribeca for the opening of Cope2’s latest exhibition, “Hypnotic.” Scroll down to check out some of the paintings and people who filled the gallery.
