Labor Day weekend brought Barbecues, weekend getaways and boozed filled adventures for many. For Thinkspace it brought the highly anticipated debut of Dabs Myla’s Marvelous Expeditions. Centered around the couple’s mutual love of travel and exploration, the show features new work and installations as pieces from 32 of their closest and most inspiring friends.
With help from Craola, the duo took over the Culver City gallery with an installation depicting a vibrant cityscape punctuated with playful details that they are famous for. Each featured artist was armed with 16” x 20” wood panels and asked to produce their take on the established theme. The walls were lined with work from renowned artists such as Revok, Eine, Meggs, Askew and Greg Lamarche to name a few. The show will run until September 22.
