Last Friday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg invited LA based artist David Choe to decorate the inside of the company’s new headquarters in Menlo Park, California. Choe painted a large blue mural in the lobby of the main office, and then let his creative mind stroll, spraying his work all around the massive new Facebook campus. Most of the work were his own ideas, but he also took suggestions from Facebook workers who stayed after work on Friday to witness the offices’ redecoration. There were no restrictions to where or what Choe could paint, and he was even given a tour of the entire complex by Mark Zuckerberg himself beforehand.
This isn’t the first time Choe has been to Facebook. Zuckerberg had Choe paint the old offices in 2006, 2007, and has commissioned various other artworks as well. Zuckerberg has proven to be a big fan of Choe, but maybe also a fan of graffiti too. At one point, Zuckerberg even joined Choe to spray his own piece on the wall. Check out the video below!
