“The Deepest Depths Of The Burrow” street art documentary by Nychos and Rabbit Eye Movement
Nychos is an illustrator, street and graffiti artist from Vienna. He has become widely known for his RABBIT EYE MOVEMENT (REM), conceived 10 years ago. His style is distinctive. Nychos breathes life into death, his work a hybrid of anatomical art and animation.
The icon of his Rabbit Eye Movement is, of course, a white rabbit. This rabbit has been breeding since its creation and has been popping up in the streets across the globe for the past decade. During the past two years, Nychos was accompanied by filmmaker Christian Fischer who recorded his journeys in an effort to create a full-length movie: “The Deepest Depths Of The Burrow”. The film will premiere on April 15, 2015 in Vienna, Austria and will feature artists including Lamour Supreme, Look, Nychos, The Yok, Tristan Eaton and many others. Tickets may be purchased here for €5.
“The Deepest Depths Of The Burrow” is a documentary about art, lifestyle and the subcultures that surround the intermingling of the two. The movie captures the experiences of Nychos and other members of RABBIT EYE MOVEMENT. Nychos and REM members flew from Berlin to San Francisco, to Copenhagen and Hawaii, and many more places to visit artists who all provide a unique view into their (street) culture. They lead Nychos through the streets of their home cities, show him and you the deepest depths of their burrows. “The Deepest Depths Of The Burrow” depicts scenes and relationships that highlights the darkening contrasts between street art and graffiti.
