DONUT: ON IDLE VOL. 2 ZINE REVIEW

By - Tuesday, October 27th, 2015

Once I found out that DONUT’s ON IDLE VOL. 2 zine was filled with exclusively 35mm photography, I ordered it as soon as I could. The zine itself features tons of photographs, including some action and low key spots. We all know DONUT has been making quite the reputation lately, and this zine documents some of his recent adventures. The photographs are taken in a variety of different settings and cities. Some include trackside shots, bridges, walls, and tunnels. The 8.5 x 5.5 zine is definitely worth the fifteen dollars.

The layout of the zine is organized, and has a professional feel. The grainy 35mm photographs look incredible on the semi-gloss paper. The card stock letter press cover gives the entire zine a high quality look. The zine also features some potraits, landscapes, and close-ups for a balanced variety.

The zine ends on a classy note, with a full bleed photograph of DONUT pissing in a Philadelphia yard with septa trains in the background. Grab this zine online through On Idle here before it sells out.
