Earsnot Irak Back In The Day

By - Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

IRAK crew prez and an LES favorite, Earsnot’s unceremonious way of telling it like it is comes through in his undeniable personal presence throughout Downtown New York and the rest of the shitty city, as well as through the prolific graffiti trail he blazed there as well. As he honed his craft, Earsnot earned a name for himself by not only running with one of the most notorious crew of kids in the city or by writing his name with a quality of style few can match, but for pulling everyone’s card along the way… Whether they were Vandal Squad cops or neighborhood rivals, major corporations or just a random victim in the wrong place at the right time, untold many had their turn. Before real estate values compounded to forcibly silence most of graffiti, Earsnot wreaked havoc on every surface he touched. Here’s some highlights caught on video from a more care free era… Sacer RIP
