Flick Fridays: Williamsburg, Brooklyn

By - Friday, March 20th, 2015

I took a 10 minute walk around Williamsburg the other day to take some pictures. I only had a short time before eating dinner with my family. I was really happy with what I was able to photograph in that bit of time. There are not enough minutes in the day, between family and work. My son took the walk with me. He is just as interested in graffiti and photography as I am. He’s also a great spotter. He often sees tags or stickers that I miss. We managed to see some dope stuff on that rainy day.

If you’re ever in New York City, Williamsburg is a great place to walk around and see graff. Rooftops, gates, bridges and doors are just a few places you’ll see blessed by a lot of dope writers.

What’s your favorite neighborhood for graffiti spotting? Let us know in the comment box below. How many of you involve your family in graff culture?

As always, be sure to check out the brick slayers thread in on the 12oz forum for more graff on the streets and elsewhere.
