For The Archives: Bazooka Films 77 X Oakland Terminal X Joshua Mays

By - Friday, September 11th, 2015

“For The Archives” is a documentation series dedicated to the Bay Area’s artist community, a collection of timelines giving a voice to those that support it. Produced by Bazooka Films 77 in conjunction with Oakland Terminal Gallery, this edition of “For The Archives” features artist Joshua Mays, and follows him as he works on a mural.

During the conversation Mays discusses his inspiration to fill the streets with public art and the need for all people to discover their creative outlet. He also touches on the influence of the internet and social media to connect artists with their audience and other artists, something  we here at 12ozProphet are very familiar with. He keenly states, “I’m trying to make my dreams viral, and infect the population with possibilities.” We dig that man, keep after it.

Make sure to check out more from Bazooka Films 77 and Oakland Terminal, as they are both always up to some cool shit.
