Freight Friday: East Coast Freights

By - Friday, May 1st, 2015

This Freight Friday highlights East Coast Freights. Throughout the hundreds of freights yards and lay-ups on the East Coast, large and small, several household names such as Ichabod, Kemr (Kems), Dwel and many more appear, time and time again. At a small New England lay-up spot, the homie @swpht was able to catch some great flicks of a few well known East Coast writers.

To start, there is a dope Hickey piece looking nice and frosty. Next up is a Seekz and Kamit collabo crushing a Union Pacific box car. Akey, a true East Coaster, kills this freight panel with a bold piece. Next is one of our favorites from the collection, a rare Kemer whole car (we haven’t seen many flicks of this one on the web, though Kems whole cars are abundant on Flickr). And of course, a must-see on any East Coast freight, Circle T crew. A couple of Ich signature tick tock pieces, and a newer Dwel piece. All in all, Swpht captured some rad photos of solid freight graffiti, check out his Instagram @swpht for more dope flicks.
