This edition of Friday Five brings you styles from YAMS, AFEX, NHALE, AMUSE and BOAR, straight out of Chicago.

First up is a YAMS shot from an abandoned building with an interesting deteriorating floor. YAMS uses color fading and letter breaks as a way to add a variety of colors to his piece. AFEKS is up next, using cool colors in the fill and popping the piece off the wall with a dope background and character.

The next piece is DORA by NHALE. A good use of pinks and purples here, topped off with a green aura and designed white shines to pop it all off. Following is Amuse with an interesting fill that utilizes the background’s black, as well as red, orange and yellow. The green in the background also adds the right amount of contrast to the piece. Last, but not least, is an XMEN piece by BOAR, from yet another abandoned building. The color scheme is vibrant and the letters flow well.
