Go Inside the Hive with Aliens: Colonial Marines

In true Gearbox fashion, the marketing has been ridiculous for their next upcoming title in February. It seems like the dev team behind Aliens: Colonial Marines went through a lot with Fox to get the best and most accurate story line possible. Their interpretation of the Alien hive is spot on: Eggs are scattered across the floor, humans dangling from wet sacks on the walls, and for whatever reason, this high-tech spaceship has a rusty fan with a flashing red light behind it.

Check out the concept art and actual in game footage of the Hive in the video above. Also yeah, I’m hoping to use the flamethrower and absolutely destroy the ever living hell out of this room when Aliens: Colonial Marines drops February 12 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on February 12. A Wii U version is also in development, but an exact release date has not been revealed.
