Google counters the iPad mini with … a bigger Nexus tablet! Actually, it’s about the same size as a regular iPad. The Nexus 10, an Android 4.2 tablet shipping on November 13, comes equipped with a dual-core 1.7GHz CPU, a 2560 x 1600 screen, and 2GB of RAM. Google has also indicated that the Nexus 10 will crank out nine hours of continuous video playback and 500 hours of standby on its 9,000mAh lithium polymer battery. Need help better understanding? Engadget hooked it up with a comparison chart to help. That screen comes out comes out to be wider than the iPad, with a better pixel density and a faster processor. The really impressive specification to compare, however, is the price: $399 for 16GB, a full hundred dollars cheaper than Apple’s offering. The 32GB version retails at $499.
