Graffiti Outside Obama's Chicago Home Sparks Investigation by Secret Service

The message “Violence is Weak” was found scrawled on a barrier wall outside Barack Obama’s Hyde Park, Chicago home this morning. NBC Chicago has reported that a source has claimed it is fecal matter, but admittedly states that the report is unconfirmed. The Chicago police and Secret Service were on the scene investigating as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit is set to take place in Chicago this coming week. It is unknown if the graffiti was left by protesters of the NATO conference, but protestors are certainly being generally implicated. Violence may or may not be weak depending on your perspective, but ideas and the reaction to this message are undoubtably strong.
Although unrelated, this brings up memories of when graffiti writer Espo was arrested for hosting the “Doody Rudy” protest fundraiser in Washington Square Park where New York City residents had the opportunity to throw fake poop at a picture of the then mayor, Rudy Giulianni .
