Graffiti in Senegal

{image-1} Interesting article about Street art in Senegal, west Africa. Dakar the capital city of Senegal, socially accepts graffiti as a means for a young generation to speak. Docta a graffiti pioneer artist who explains, that in the beginning his work puzzled admirers of his pieces. His work was stylized and the message was lost. Recently a 88 foot mural, of two historically renewed african figures, with “Unity in Diversity” written, grace the wall below a overpass leading into downtown Dakar, signed by Docta. Heres hoping that the piece translates.
