Grand Theft Auto V Mural Spotted in NYC

By - Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013

{image-1} Rockstar Games and Take-Two seem to market their legendary Grand Theft Auto title in much the same way with every release. Back a couple years ago, it was with a giant mural by Colossal on Canal at Greene Street. Since City legislation reduced the physical dimension on that wall, we’re now starting to see a push onto other spots about town. Here’s the most recent one going up on 7th Avenue in the West Village. Reddit user kotgfyad has been posting pictures online keeping up with the mural’s progress throughout the day. In some of the images, you can see the ESRB rating pending logo, which lends strong evidence to the idea that this could be GTA V’s official box art. According to Rockstar’s Twitter account, the mural is expected to be finished in the “next day or so,” with “digital versions coming soon.” So hold tight for all new adventures in virtual car jacking!
