Eric Haze is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Haze Brand, which he describes as “a collision of graffiti, skate, and surf culture.” He is marking the momentous occasion with a massive retrospective exhibition this weekend filled with work dating back to the release of his first t-shirt collection in 1987.
His anniversary coincides with that of the G-Shock brand, who tapped the talent of Haze to design the identity, packaging, and a collection of watches for the brand’s 30th anniversary. Haze has worked with G-Shock multiple times in the past, most recently designing the identity of the brand’s 25th anniversary. This Friday there will surely be a lot to celebrate at the private invite-only reception.
In case your invite got lost in the mail, don’t miss your opportunity to check out the show and meet the artist during the one day only public viewing this Saturday, September 29th, from noon to 6pm at Solo located at 40 Broad Street in Lower Manhattan.
