Haze x Nike - Inside the Artist’s Studio

This article was posted by Senior Editor 9 months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 4 hours, 1 minute ago.

We recently broke the news of Haze’s immersive installation in the Nike Sportswear flagship at 21 Mercer to celebrate Team USA and the thirtieth Olympiad. While creating the artwork for the store, Eric Haze allowed Nike’s cameras into his studio to capture the whole process.

In the video above take a look at the artist at work as Haze discusses the significance of symbols in his work and how he drew inspiration from the Nike Sportswear Dream Team Destroyer jacket to create a larger than life installation that draws on the powerful history of 1992’s most paramount basketball team.

In case you missed it, see all the work fall into place in 12ozProphet’s previous post on Haze’s Installation at 21 Mercer.
