Many of the new generation of rappers have struggled to gain the approval of their legendary predecessors more often than not receiving criticism instead of praise. Brooklyn’s Joey Bada$$ has been one of the few exceptions to this rule as the youngster has shown a unique ability to combine the best elements of classic Hip-Hop with a new school appeal that is pleasing to to both generations. With his new single Unorthodox he teams up with the legendary Producer and founding member of Gangstarr DJ Premier. A co-sign by Primo is one of the highest compliments that can paid to any MC.
