Video: Jon Bocksel – Children of Clay

By - Wednesday, October 17th, 2012

The grainy, atmospheric cinematography displayed here from the Brooklyn-based New York native is just one part of Children of Clay, which captures a lifestyle of travel, skateboarding, and graffiti through a vintage 8mm camera. Jon Bocksel was recently featured in San Francisco’s Streetopia that took place this past Spring, underscoring the utopian city theme with “BCAUSE,” a performance art piece using phrases and typography partly inspired by his experiences in the Tenderloin. These concepts were further illustrated during his Guerrero Gallery exhibition this past Summer in the Mission District.
