JR's Inside & Out Hits Hong Kong.

By - Wednesday, September 19th, 2012

After winning the prestigious TED prize in 2011, JR continues his world round tour with his INSIDE OUT project hitting Hong Kong and showcasing some work at the Galerie Perrotin. On his trip, he unveiled 16 large-scale, black an white portraits of Hong Kong residents within the Central district of the Metropolis. He pasted the portraits on an elevated footbridge that is located above Connaught Road. INSIDE OUT is a large-scale participatory art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. A collaboration between the artist JR, the TED Prize and you!
