12ozProphet Exclusive: KATSU in Sub-Saharan Africa

By - Thursday, October 18th, 2012

{image-1} Katsu is always working on new ways to use his graffiti as a platform for new and weird ideas. Now he’s using it for good. 12ozProphet has just received these images from the graffiti writer’s visit to Sub-Saharan Africa. Katsu is currently working on a shadow project in southern Kenya helping the impoverished populations living on less than a dollar a day. The project is based around staple crop yields. Here are some images of the little dudes he’s looking out for. Katsu tells 12ozProphet that the kids are a real inspiration for him. While the images and philanthropic goal are reminiscent of the BNE Water Foundation, we are awaiting more details about the artist’s trip to Kenya and will bring you more information as it comes in. {image-2} {image-3} {image-4} {image-5}
