CBS Sunday Morning featured KAWS in their morning news show yesterday. No stranger to 12ozProphet readers, KAWS’ career literally soared to new heights this past Thanksgiving when his signature character, the KAWS Companion, was one of the balloons floating above the city streets in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This feature on him covers his history from a graffiti writers out of Jersey City to his success as an artist today touching upon his international notoriety with toy releases in Tokyo and gallery openings in Paris.
