By - Thursday, August 27th, 2015

Fan’s of 90s skateboarding and early street culture, this here’s for you. As part of the Kickstarter for The Kids documentary that we have been following on 12ozProphet, photographers Ari Marcopoulos and Gunars Elmuts have agreed to release prints from their private collections. These prints are available to pledgers at the $2000 and $150 level and are limited in supply, so make sure you pledge today.

Ari Marcoploulos was a documenter of the early 90s skate scene in New York City. Much like Larry Clark, he noticed the energy the kids had and took to following them around and photographing their lifestyle. His photos provide an inside look at how these kids that helped shape a culture lived their day to day. Gunars Elmuts is responsible for the behind the scenes shots taken during the filming of Kids and many of the photos used in our feature piece on the documentary.

They only have 13 days left to achieve their goal of $81,000, so pledge today and ask your friends to do the same!
