Known Gallery Rolls Out Their First Installment of Print Program for January 2012
Known Gallery invited Patrick Martinez, Victor Reyes, Eric Haze, and Norm AWR to be part of their Print Program release throughout this month. In the 12oz studio we think the Reyes alphabet box is too cool and the super limited Haze print is a must have. Patrick Martinez’s most recent print “Hate and Love (Fighter)” is a serigraph reproduction of his 2011 mixed media piece. The original was executed in a mixed media on acrylic plex and neon which measures 48″ x 40″. This piece was first shown at Martinez’s solo show at Known Gallery entitled “HUSTLEMANIA” The piece represents the warrior instinct side of humans and the simple yet complex idea of love and hate, and is limited to 70.
The “Black Letter Type Set” was printed In San Francisco, California and features a unique alphabet illustrated by Victor Reyes from the subject of his show “Misspelled” 2010 San Francisco, CA. This “Type Set” explores the qualities of Black Letter and Old English as well as their appropriation to west coast graffiti lettering. Easy to frame yourself this type set is classic and can transform any interior or office into an emblematic array of Letter Set variations. This print is limited to 26.

Norm’s “Always” serigraph was printed by Modern Multiples in a four color ways for his June 2011 show at Known Gallery named ALWAYS. The print will be limited to: Blue version: 25 – Pink version: 22 – Gold/Black version: 11
