Last Chance To Catch Endless Canvas' "Special Delivery" in Berkeley, Ca

By - Friday, September 21st, 2012

Check out this awesome video recap of the Special Delivery show which transformed an abandoned 36,00 sq. ft. factory building into a veritable museum of graffiti and street art. The building, which was a long time chill spot for writers in the area, is slated to be turned into office space. When Endless Canvas heard this news they joined forces with the owner of the property to throw one last hurrah for the space. The show was killer and brought out more than 80 of your favorite artists, including Jurne, Swampy, and Gats to name a few. Not an inch was left unpainted in the 3 level building. On opening night several thousand people from around the Bay flocked to the location to celebrate and rally around this DIY art show. After the show several kids vandalized surrounding buildings, which made headlines, reportedly leading the organizers of the event to paint over the fresh tags in the neighborhood to do damage control and make good with the community. Politics aside, that shouldn’t discourage you from taking advantage of the last opportunities to see this unique exhibition for yourself. The doors of the building will be open on both Sunday September 23rd and Sunday September 30th, 12pm-6pm.
