Cope2 Joins 10 Other Artists in Times Square for Love Save Japan Benefit

This past Sunday Cope 2 joined 10 other artists including Pesu, Shiro, and Zito in painting canvases to be sold among a crowd of on lookers in the heart of Times Square for the Love Save Japan organization. The event also featured hip hop legend DJ Marley Marl setting the mood on the wheels of steel. All profits from the canvas sales are being used for relief efforts in areas of Japan effected by the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear disaster that struck in March of 2011.

Cope 2 said, “Times Square was on fire for the Love Save Japan artist painting benefit event! This was truly amazing painting live right on 46st in broadway with some amazing artists!” Scroll down to check out some of Cope’s personal photos posted on his blog on 12ozProphet.
