Austrailian Graffiti provocateur Lush’s solo show Shitty Drawings in New York City at Klughaus Gallery is coming to a close this Friday, September 7th. You can still catch the debauchery before it’s gone. Shitty Drawings in New York City is a collection of new drawings depicting many cliché’s involved in a graffiti writers modern life, including typical scenarios that one might find at a graffiti gallery show. Unable to make it to the opening, Lush made a virtual appearance via Skype, pictured below. The exhibition kicked off with a bang, crash, and a thud as someone decided to vandalize some of the artist’s featured work at the opening. This didn’t deter Lush, who took it in stride saying, “Haters gonna hate… Three shows in a row of stolen and destroyed work on each of the opening nights. I’m flattered…”

Skype with the one and only.
