Margaret Kilgallen: Summer/ Selections show in S.F.

By - Friday, June 17th, 2011

{image-1} A few days ago we posted a photo of Margaret Kilgallen (1967-2001) drawing her “Matokie Slaughter” moniker on a train. And today we’re learning of her first solo S.F. show in thirteen years at Ratio 3 gallery. The exhibition, titled Margaret Kilgallen: Summer/ Selections, will feature her work on paper, canvas, even the discarded pages of books. With her momentum not slowing a bit and the work as amazing as ever, this promises to be a highlight for some time. So if you happen to be out in San Francisco, we’d definitely recommend checking out this show. Opening reception is Thursday from 6-8, June 23.
