MCA DAY NYC - Saturday May 19th, Union Square 11am

Tomorrow, Saturday May 19th, head to Union Square at 11am to celebrate the life of Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Bestie Boys. In what’s been coined MCA DAY, a Facebook page and Twitter have been created by organizer Michael Kearney to bring people together in honor of the fallen hip hop legend. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring songs, memories, and anything else that will help pay tribute to Yauch and his life. It was also just announced that there will be a fan-sourced video tribute honoring the influence and creative spirit of MCA and the Beastie Boys.
