Step by Step Video of Mear One’s “Allegory Of Complacency” Mural in Los Angeles

Mear One has released a new video documenting his recent literary inspired mural entitled “Allegory of Complaceny” painted in Los Angeles, California. The title refers to the Greek philosopher Plato’s “Allegory of the Cave” from his classic work, The Republc. In the video above, Mear gives a brief description of the allegory while showing you step by step the process of painting of the wall. This is one of his many politically and spiritually inspired works that are clearly raising the bar on conceptual, illustrative aerosol murals. To those “outside the cave”, this is a monumental work. Enjoy the video produced by Roger L. Griffith with music by Thevius Beck.
